TOPIC: Sort signature list

I can not find a way to sort the order of the name list when I want to print a signature list from backend. I sort the name column, then select all participants and then I print signature list. The list is always printed as the last registered is on top of the list.
Is this a bug? Or a feature request? Very time consuming checking in participants from a printed list when names are not in alphabetical order. Another problem is first and last name are put into name, then I guess it is not possible to sort by last name.

hmm this is a feature request. But you are right, we should take the ordering which is active in the bookings view. Added it to my todo-list

Thanks for your reply. The name column is quite limited as well as firstname and lastname is put into one field which makes it a bit limited. If this has to be put on one single field I suggest make the field configurable, a) Firstname + Lastname and b) Lastname, + firstname Is makes much more sense sorting by lastname in lists such as the signature list.

Another bug or missing feature is when I add participants in the backend. The custom fields are not available. Is this correct?

no it's not. You mean the event specific ones? You have to save the booking after selecting the event first (they are event specific but you are not creating a event specific booking, so Matukio does not know which to show, this happens only after a first save).

Yes, I have make an event and partitipators have signed up in frontend. After deadline I enter backend to delete some, edit some and add some. When I add a participant, I choose event in the drop down menu, but the event specific fields are not shown. They are shown if I edit an existin participant, but not when I try to add a new one in backend.

Hey Yves, just a short question: is this topic "Sort signature list" solved now?
I don't see any possibility to sort a signature or participant list (especially sorting by last name would be great).
Do you have a hint?

We now developed a "solution" along this idea:

P.S.: Die Listen im Frontend werden erstmal nach Buchungszeitpunkt sortiert, was in den meisten Fällen sinnvoller ist. im Backend wird die Sortierung übernommen die in der Bookings Ansicht aktiv ist.. Dort kannst du übrigens jetzt schon nach Nachnahmen sortieren (nur das Buchungsfeld im Frontend anzeigen)

Thanks for the feedback, sorry for not opening a new post, I thought, you'll read this anyway...

Im Backend unter "Buchungen" wird in der Spalte "Name" der Vorname UND Nachname ausgegeben - zusammengefasst in 1 einzigen String. Die Sortierung erfolgt also stets nach Vorname...

Zudem wird diese Sortierung eben nicht übernommen - für die Unterschriften- und Teilnehmerliste.

Wir verwenden Matukio in der Version 5.2.8. Hilft ein Update?
