TOPIC: i would like to see the Jomsocial plugin in action

Your demo site doesn't include the posting of new hot spots to js activities fields. I have a copy of your pro version 3.4.5 that some one gave me I really like the component its good stuff but i can seem to get the activities feed working the points are enabled in js and activity in the plugin create permissions set correctly I would love to by this hotspot feature . is there any way i could seed it working in jomsocial I have been disappointed many times with extensions so i am overly careful of purchasing

Hey Lawrence,
You just need to enable the hotspots jomsocial plugin. Then when a user points from the frontend in the activity stream you'll see:
"user X posted a new Hotspot: "title of the hotspot with link""

That is all our plugin for jomsocial does. Get a PRO subscription with us and I'll help you configure it (but as I said - it is as simple as enabling the plugin). If you are not happy with this we can always refund you!

Thanks for your response but its not working i tested it on clean install joomla 3.2 jomsocial 3.1.0.4 and it returns this error

I would love to purchase this component because i would like to use it as a checkin feature similar to the facebook app checkin basically I need to remove the editor from front end and replace with a text area or at least remove all the tool bars from the editor on the front end make it mobile responsive because the editor is not responsive have it post to the activities feed of jomsoocial user x was at so and so location on date. The maps not really an important part for this. I was thinking of filtering it and have a map on users profile that shows just their hot spots or a plug in that list them for my members. I can use the my hot spots list thing i guess and add the picture if they upload one. Configuration is not the issue unless there is a permission i am missing, it does not show on the stream. Couple other issues I m using an android 4.3 for test on mobile responsive-ness the intro message is not responsive on mobile the "little man" icon and toggle buttons on the add page do not function so a user cannot load his own location with a press of a button I think this is all caused by the editor not responding to size "but hey what do i know". Every thing works great on desktop ,laptop and tablets but I really like the concept.
Tested on the prostar template and the gantry frame work same issues in mobile with wifi and without.

I just tested it with the latest hotspots version and jomsocial 3.1.0.1 and here is the result:
