TOPIC: HotSpots pre sales q's

HotSpots seems quite interesting to me. Yet I have a few questions:

'Helper'
In some other Joomla component which deal with geolocations, you can find a 'helper' for submitting a location. You can enter the address in an input box and the component will come up with some suggestions from which you can pick the location (if your location is in the list). Maybe there is an 'official' name for this but I'll just call it a 'helper'. I think this is especially useful for front end submission. See this example which comes from RS Events Pro:


Modules
Do you have any modules for alternative layouts? E.g.:

• a listing of locations (without the map)
• a randomly picked location
• an image gallery made from the images which are attached to the locations

Clustering
Can I use clustering of markers as featured in the newer GoogleMaps services? See this image for an example:

Well I don't get it. Seems that I cannot insert my second picture at all. I'll give you a link to a page where you can view it:

demo.compojoom.com/hotspots/submit-a-location - we don't have a suggestion box for the address, but do you see the man on the right of the address filed? When you click it will get your current location and fill out all the fields. Additionally if you start to move the marker on the map -> the address changes automatically.

Maybe we do not mean the same thing with 'clustering'. Your demo does not look as I expected. I'll try to upload a screenshot of what I mean (upload went wrong last time):

Hey Fritz,
I gave you a link to the documentation where everything is explained.
We won't support the clustering mechanism that you are referring to as it is unsuitable for more than few thousand locations.

The algorithm that we've implemented works fine for 1000, 10000, 100 000 and 1 000 000 locations. So this is what you get
