how do I make it possible to display the map only a category, without creating a menu item or to place the item in specific material?
Whether there is a short code to display the categories as the {hotspots anywhere Itemid} like {hotspots anywhere CATEGORYid}?

Unfortunatly that is not possible.

You'll have to create a hidden menu, select the categories you want to show and then in the hotspots anywhere plugin provide the itemid.
What's your use case for this?

I try to add id of hidden menu 178 and id of category in the component its not working
