Apart from using Facebook Connect (see http://developers.facebook.com/connect.php ), i'll be honest and say I personally don't know how an extension/feature such as this would work... Custom Facebook app maybe? Maybe i'll learn some FB stuff for 4.1...

I absolutely don't understand this.

In joomla every comment is ordered to a article item. And those comment's from facebook, what are they going to be ordered to?

In my opinion, something like this would be more logical to assosiate to personal profiles, like in the Community Builder etc system.

I know that CB has a plugin whereby you can type in what you're doing etc... but at the moment I don't think additional comments to that is possible.
Also, it would look kind of stupid too, as it positions itself just under the Username.

I see more simple than that

Simply connect the article(+comments) with their titles or primarily through their urls! (if you use SEF was the id of the article in the URL)

? What's the point of having your own site then?

I mean, it's dead simple already to Share your articles through to ie. Facebook or whatever you want, with the Addons available.
Which in turn should work as a marketing tool for your site.

To drag the comments also over, implies that Facebook just reflects your stuff.
Do your users really read everything twice?

Also there are people who prefer to comment on FaceBook and others who don't FaceBook.

It's more a matter of difficulty right now. I started researching this a few months ago (see Feature #71 ) and we're a little too busy to learn the Facebook API for the moment as this is a somewhat complex feature. But we should see it one day soon.
