TOPIC: Plugin request - cbTab

I'm planig to write such a thing after releasing 4.0.

Any progress on this yet?

I also need a cb tab, or else this comment system won't have as much use to me. It's a good comment system, so please consider it.

Problem with the cb Jom Tab.... it seems as though it's for jomcomment..... and I use !joomlacomment 3.26 which is an entirly diffrent component.... on the cb tab it tells me _UE_JOMCOMMENTNOTINSTALLED
So, I guess it's good if I used jomcomment.... but I like !joomlacomment better!

This actually worked for me with !joomlaComment, but it needs changing the code a little. I will do it soon

NICE! It works! Karma for you! This means now that I can use !joomlacomments! Now this is just a request that would be nice, is there a possible way to display two or more columns.

Right now it's:

Date Title

Date of Comment Comment Title

---

It would be nice to have it be:

Date Title Date Title

Date of Comment Comment Title Date of Comment Comment Title

---

Two columns per row... or more...... Is this possible?
Another feature that would be good to have is have it display the page title.... the page which was commented......

I think DATE | TITLE | COMMENT (may be a part of comment) would be better and currently you can't click comments without Title. And there is no pagination. Only fixed number of comments.

Pagination would be useful.... is that a future possibility? I don't like setting comment limits, so for me it's either pagination, or full list.

Someone is making this plugin?!? Wonderful. I agree with the Date, title, comment idea. Thank you so much.

I think there also should be TITLE OF PAGE where comment was posted in instead of COMMENT TITLE

Agreed! That would be nice! Now if I look into the code of the recent cb ycomment plugin and find where it gets the article in the php code.... but I'll have to wait a while, but if I do it, I'll try and reply and all.

I love V3! Thanks! Now i'm sure it's great for most people, but I made a test, when a comment is long, it messes with how the article date looks, is there a possibility to have a v3.1 that has everything exept the comment text? That to me would be wonderful, the link to the comment is good enough for the text which they would see. Very much appreciated! More Karma for you! Cheers Josh Lewis.

I had that same problem at first but i changed a setting in joomlacoment and it fixed it, its under the layout and then it is called

Columns number of the input area:

its default at 40 i changed mine to 20 and it fixed it. it also fixed the comments that were going over the template on articles.
