I downloaded some marker icons and used the backend to change some of the categories to have a custom icon.
All seemed to be working fine. Then one of the categories showed "Loading the map" note a bit too long. And that category had a custom marker icon, and a shadow... clicking any of the other category links, with no custom marker icon, worked ok. But this one with one just kept on loading the map...
ok, so I got frustrated about it and went back to the back end to do some magic. First I tried removing the marker icon. Pressed save. What? no change? The damn icon's still there? Repeated... svaed... Whatta he? No change?
So I tried changing the icon to a sample icon, and changed the shadow, that seemed to work, for the sample icon but not for the shadow. So I kept on trying and trying and finally the category seemed to have no icon and no shadow. But...
in the front end, the category, after clearing the cache and all, had the sample icon and sample shadow still on... and the map for that category kept on loading...
So I took my phpMyAdmin and did some checking. The sample icon & shadow png's were in the category's cat_icon, cat_shadowicon fields. Wattahell? Back end says there's no icon or shadow for that category! So I removed them and now all's fine.
This COULD be a sef problem but the back end behaviour was really odd.
Any idea?
