TOPIC: New Hotspot 4.01

Hi

I see that you have worked hard on hotspot 4, congrats !
I have a few questions :
Is it safe to do a simple upgrade from 3 to 4 or is it brand new ?
Will my overrides still work from 3 to 4 ?
When will you have the mobile view ready ?

Overrides on the single view should work.
Overrides on the map view will NOT work. The map view has changed - it is build out of underscore templates (which are now modifiable and not hardcoded as was the case of 3.x)

It is save to update from 3.x to 4.0.x. The stupidest bugs are already fixed and the component should work immediatly after the update. But if you have templates overrides on the map view you'll need to update them. As usual what I can advise is - make the update on a test site. A lot has changed for sure!

The mobile view should be ready till the end of the month. It's really bothering me that Hotspots looks that way on mobile now & I want this thing fixed ASAP.

Hi Daniel
I tried to install it on a test website and noticed a conflict with hikashop when it is installed.
It seems like the css from hikashop conflicts with yours, see screenshot
Any idea to solve it ?

Seems impossible to add a file so sent it by email

Did you find the solution on new updates ?

The solution is to override the CSS. I need to reproduce the error first and will make the necessary css changes after that.
