Hi,

related to the problem described - compojoom.com/forum/53-installation/17406-dashboard -
I think the problem is that when installing the hotspot is not created tables in the database.

There is no table "fpckb_hotspots", in fact not a single new table after installation.

I use Joomla 2.5.8, and Sqlsrv Database Type.
installation is successfully passed.

Please Do you have any advice?

Regards

Ok, I got the frontend working now. I have some troubles with the installation... and I'm starting to think that my joomla installation is corrupt.

Expect a dev release tomorrow :)
Cheers,
Daniel

Here it is!
compojoom.com/component/ars/repository/dev-hotspots/gitad54b0b

It should install out of the box on SQL Server and it should work properly on SQL Server :)

If you find any problems report them here and I'll take care of them!

Regards,
Daniel

Hi,
Thanks, now is better but still have some problems.

1. When I open Dash board I get error "Error loading feed data"

2. I added one group and one location in that group. But I do not see location in front on map view.

The "error loading feed data" is a problem with your server. It is not properly configured to https urls (the feed in question is our blog data, which is loaded over a secure connection).

The locations - have you selected an image for the marker shadow (in the category options)? Is the hotspot that you've entered published? Or have you manipulated the access level?(showing it only to registered users?)

Hi,
I have selected an image for the marker shadow.
Hotspots is puplished.

There is still a problem. When I add a hotspot location and put that the location marker is the same as a marker of the categorie, location appears on the map at the front.

When I choose custom marker for locatin there is no location on the map at front.
Also if I do any modification on the hotspotds data and save it, that hotspot disappear from the map and from the hotspots list on front , but still is on the dashboard map.

I do not know what the problem is. I tried several times to delete categoires and hotspots locations and have set them again carefully, but still the same problem. Here are a few screen shots.

Aha, a bug with SQL Server.

When you save the hotspot for a second time the publish_down date is set to 1900-0....

on MySQL server it is 0000-000...

We had a check if date > 0 . Which with 1900 is bigger than 0...

Get the latest dev release and it should be all fine.

Hopefully this will be the last bug with MSQL. thanks for helping!
