TOPIC: Connecting hotspots to extra fields?

I have a client who is using K2 and Extra Fields on their site, and they want to be able to deliver a Mapping function to their clients. Due to the way they need to work they are exporting and importing 2000 records on a regular basis as they update the website records information for their clients.

I want to be able to use Hotspots but I would need to connect it to the specific address related Extra Fields in each record.

Has anyone got any advice on how this might be possible?

At this stage the k2 fields are not connected in any way to the Hotspots custom fields. You'll have to hack our k2 plugin and add a lot of lines of PHP to handle the custom fields from K2. Maybe you could add them as a normal text into the Hotspots content.

No worries - As it's a particular problem i face I've asked a colleague to take a look at writing a cheat to bypass the issue. It's not perfect but i think it will resolve the issue that i have.
