The dreaded jc has a lot of cool stuff that ccomment doesn't have and vice versa :)
We will see if I manage to improve the API for ccomment5.

I admit I might have played a role in that. I convinced the developer of Jcomments to make it portable with a {jcomments} tag. Daniel made this possible for me as well, but this is a mod. Personally I think it should be included in the main release of CComments. JComments pulled it off where it doesn't seem to negatively effect the extension.

You might ask why 2 comment systems? I have one for discussions and one for a travel log.
