I am now getting an error message on the front end in red "You have no rights to add a hotspot" this only seems to have happened since i changed the setttings for "CompojoomComment support" or this might just be a coinsidence?

I have checked the user rights and nothing has changed there so i am a bit stumped

Any idea please?

:( Have you selected the setting that only registered can post hotspots? And I guess you are on 2.5 - there is a bug on that version.
the easiest way to be able to restrict the access here would be to make the button that leads to the form only for registered. Go to the menu and set the access level to registered.
