Hi! Can you tell me, does this extension require the visitor to register himself in order to submit a comment? And also, is there a way to collect that info in the backend of the Joomla site?

Nope - registration should be handled trough the joomla registration system. We only have the option to forbid writing of comments if the user is not registered.

Daniel

Thank you very much for the quick reply! :)

Just tell me, what kind of access level should I set for the registered members in order to allow them to comment if not-registered are forbiden?

And also, is there a demo where I can see the extension in action? Since the demo link from the Joomla extension directory, I can't access the demo page...

Thanks again! We'll be doing business! :)

You can't access the demo page from the JED??? Here is the link to the frontend: demo.compojoom.com/compojoomcomments

We don't fully support the joomla 2.5 ACL right now so the option is really easy -> it is either on or of:
allow guests to comment: yes no

If it is set to yes, guests + registered users will be able to comment. If it is set to no guests won't be able to comment, but all registered users will be - no matter what the access level.

Yeah, the link on JED is different from this one. Thanks! :)

OK, I understand. This extension supports Joomla 1.7, right?

And just one more quesiton - is there a possibility to somehow collect info from the contact fields and integrate it into Capsule CRM?
