I get this error after installing compojoomcomment-4.2-pro in hwdVideoShare (Nightly Build) last version.

From which version of joomlacomment did you update? Did you follow the update instructions.

I have just sended the info to you.
It was no update install. I have just installed compojoomcomment-4.2-pro.zip for the first time. maybe i have some problems with the module mod_comments4.1.1beta1.zip.

So, problem fixed...
It was related to joomla 1.7 only... We no longer have the global variable $option anymore. I'll include the fix in the next maintenance release.

basically one had to change administrator/components/com_comment/plugin/com_hwdvideoshare/josc_com_hwdvideoshare.php line 35 fromto

I had this error and applied this fix. It got rid of the error. However, there is no comment form. Just a single line that says video comments.

You didn't follow the instructions in the documentation, did you?
You have forgotten to create a setting for hwdvideo in compojoomComment (backend->components->compojoomcomment->settings-> new ...)

Now everything is working there
