TOPIC: index.html still a valid check?

Hi there,

I saw this extension in the JED and it was mentioned that it checks for an index.html file in every directory. I thought such a file is not necessary anymore?

The requirement was dropped by JED:

It was dropped from the component as well. Most probably I've forgotten to update the description of the extension
