TOPIC: Matukio 2.2

Dear Yves,

Sorry to say some harsh words but I think you owe us all a fixed realease date now.
You promise the community a lot of features and bugfixes but until today nothing.
Don't forget we all have paid subscriptions which continue to expire!
Like I said before the current version gives me a lot of extra work due to bugs or basic features like custom fields not in email or export.

I have promoted Matukio to a Museum which is complete run by volunteers and with little money.
To be honoust with you, at this moment, I'm feeling guilty I did!
If version 2.2 will not be released within a month or does not fullfill by basic requirements, I'll ask you for a full refund of the purchase and look for another solution.

Sorry for the words but I'm quite fed up with it at the moment.

i can understand your frustration - i am also disappointed about the delays, but we published the release candidate (the first alpha already came out in January) 12 days ago (which contains all promised features..). I planed releasing 2.2 last Saturday, but we had some issues and added some more requested features..

Matukio 2.2 contains more changes and new features then most extensions have in 10 updates and we added thousands lines of new code..

The stable version will be out the next couple of days.

i am currently fixing some Joomla 3.1 bugs - the rest is already finished and realease ready. I think that 2.2 will finally be out tomorrow.

I am tired of all this promised release dates. Yves, if you are not 100% sure, when you will release the new version, do not give a date - easy as this. You do more harm than good if you always write "next week" "tomorrow planed"....

I am disappointed, because when I subscribed for Matukio in Janauary 2013 I thought I get a release which get at least all features of Dirk Vollmars seminar component. Because of that I still run the old component on Joomla 1.5.x

I would really appreciate to get your 2.2 asap, so I can go online with my new Joomla 2.5.x site.

I demand a full refund for the subscription and I'll look for another solution.

Do not listen to hard to this frustrating advised on these people. I understand the user frustation already, but you can live very well indeed in the meantime with the 2.1.10 and
Joomla 2.5. Im am user of 2.1.10 and is just work very well.

I also look forward to the new version 2.2 and can not wait until this comes out.
But I'd rather wait a little while and get a well-tested Joomla component.

I'm going to need a Matukio-like calendar in another project too and I'd very much like to use Matukio, since 1) I have paid for it, 2) I'm familiar with it already and 3) I need the improved functions of 2.2.

What is the situation on the 2.2 release?

Could you please release a working and stable version now and add more stuff to a new 2.2.1 or whatever version? It was two weeks ago when you promised it "tomorrow"...

I repeat myself: all the people here are PAID subscribers!
You have obligations.

For myself, I want a full refund. The way Matukio currently works is useless for me because it gives me lot of extra work!
If you do not reply within 1 week I'm going to take legal steps in order to get our money back.
