hi,
until this afternoon I have not had any problems with IJoomla comment. But now, when I want to manage my comments I get the following error message:
Bestand niet gevonden

Firefox kan het bestand op zoektocht.net/administrator/index.php?op...omment&task=comments niet vinden.

sorry, it is in dutch. But the message is that he can't find the file. How did that happen? i didn't do anything. Firefox crashed though in the hours before a couple of times. When I try it in IE the same error message appears.
Is there a way to solve this?

And when I want to upgrade to 4.0, is that simple?

thanks,
Sander

Hey Sander,
Please make a dump of the comment table, then through phpmyadmin, start to delete the last comments one by one and refresh the backend. Sooner or later it should start to work again. After that send me the dump so that I can investigate for the problem.

The upgrade was extremely simple!
Just follow the instructions.

At least it was for me, no trouble at all!
As I have said in another post, I normally expect some trouble, since I am not on a commercial Server, and mine is an IIS Server in addition.
But, this gave no errors at all!

Heck, I even got the MyBlog and Eventlist plugins working!
The module for latest comments was also just to install and publish.

-The Eventlist plugin was a bit tricky though, since it is a hack... but I am not a programmer, and still I got it working inside a few minutes!
The worst part of that was finding instructions on the Forums... :S

Yep, we should work a little bit on the documentation, but anyway what has your post to do with the original thread "can't manage comments anymore, didn't do anything wrong"

At the end of sanders post he asks: And when I want to upgrade to 4.0, is that simple?

So I was just answering that from a users perspective.
Your answer addressed his immediate technical troubles, which is of course the main problem.
But he was obviously concerned about how the future of the product will fit his production.
