What have been don so far.
As a start point I took the last public available version of joomlawiki: www.joomlawiki.org/
As it uses mediawiki version that is 2 years old I updated to the last available version of mediawiki 1.12.0
There are still some problems - mainly comming from database changes, but that is going to change.
I also made the login in mediawiki possible (if we have a user in joomla's database) www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:AuthJoomla/ja

That is all good, but I don't want to have mediawiki in an iframe.
so from here on my idea is to hack the mediawiki software and make it extension of joomla 1.5 and not a standalone installation.
We could use for example the joomla's user table instead of the mediawiki one.
We also should work on the view and so on. I will be very happy on suggestions and ideas!
Greetings!
Daniel

P.S. I registered the project on joomlacode: joomlacode.org/gf/project/jowiki/ So anyone interested in developing - please join the project

I tried to download a copy of JoomlaWiki from www.joomlawiki.org/ and their link brought me to another website www.lyquidity.com. And the file I got there is not a full package, my WinRAR said the package has an invalid file end.

I also tried to visit joomlacode.org/gf/project/jowiki/ and the page said I was denied though I had login in.

What is wrong?

Thanks.

Hey there!
There are no files here joomlacode.org/gf/project/jowiki/ since I have only a crashed version of what I'm doing on my localhost.
If you want PM me your e-mail and I will send you the version I downloaded from www.lyquidity.com

HI, is there any progress?

I wish to move my Mediawiki to a fresh Joomla installation and I really need a Mediawiki bridge/integration for Joomla 1.5

Hey there!
Well the main purpose of jowiki changed long ago. A friend and I, we are not developing a bridge for mediawiki anymore, but standalone wiki extension for joomla.

Perhaps you can look for a bridge here www.jfusion.org/ .
JFusion is a great software and I believe they also have plans to integrate mediawki.
