Daniel,
Template looks very impressive, with lot of module positions. I'm looking forward to BiggieSmalls release.
If I'm not wrong, the current compojoom templates looks like BiggieSmalls. Is that correct?

Deno
BiggieSmalls is a free or commercial template? If commercial, then what is the cost?

Deno
I love the idea of the 1 template does all!
When you say "Left + Right modules can be either on the left or on the right side." - does this mean left or right of the component body? as in 3 column use?
Also, do you have any plans to implement rounded corners?
Thanks!
Ken
The left and the right positions can be both on the left or on the right side. Right now there is no possibility to have 3 column layout as left center right.
Rounded corners? If you look in google this is I think one of the most difficult things that one can do with css
For the moment I don't have plans to implement this, but if a lot of people request it, then I can think on it.
Perfect Daniel! Been waiting for something like this. Thanks for all your hard work!
I also love the idea of having rounded corners. If this can be implemented, i'd say this would be a killer template! More power!
I'm registered as well. Can i please get a discount too? I'm ready to buy now. Please let me know. Thanks!
Excellent Daniel, I saw that you referred to zeit.de and it's easy to see how that can be achieved using the module positions you have created...great work again!
Hi there, what is your timeline for implementing Left,Content,Right layout.
Also, a number of the template providers are implementing loading in the order of 2,1,3 (Content, Left, Right) for both SEO and performance reasons. Will you be doing this too? If so, when can we expect this? If not, does it make much of a difference for both SEO and performance?
Thanks
Chris
About left, content, right - I don't have a timeline. Perhaps next month I will implement this.
About content, left, right - this is the way the template is build right now.
You have following possibilities
content + left
content + right
content + left + right
left + right + content
left + content
right + content
or only content
OK thanks.
I guess it would be normal to load content, left, right when the layout is this way. When your layout is Left, Right, Content, is the display / load order still Content, Left, Right eventhough the layout is not ?
Thanks again
Chris
You have an example here:
http://biggiesmalls.compojoom.com/green
As you see on the left you have left+right followed by the main content. But if you look at the source code you will see that the maincontent is loaded first, followed by the left+right columns.
Pure css ![]()
How good it this for mobile content? Like using the template for Iphone etc?
Hey Ssnobben,
I have an XDA Diamond and I haven't test it on it, because I hate to surf on that small screen.
I've tested the template for iphone with this webpage:
http://www.testiphone.com/
It seems fine to me.
First impression: a GREAT piece of templating and lots of features !
Best way however to make a thorough judgement is working with it - like the good old saying: 'Proof of the puding is in the eating ...' - so I just got me a license and am looking forward to the tasting ....
i can see that you are taking care of many important points in your development as supporting various operating systems, solving many problems.
designing a website is a common thing, but it requires experience to make it a professional one & trouble free
